According to a report by the office of the sheriff, the crash involved two vehicles, and it occurred on a recent Thursday afternoon. A 34-year-old driver in an SUV was heading west through an intersection when a northbound vehicle smashed into it. The second car’s driver was a 59-year-old woman.
Three juvenile passengers and the SUV driver were rushed to an area hospital, where one of the children was admitted. The driver along with the other two kids were then airlifted to a hospital in Toledo. The other car’s driver was admitted to a different medical facility. No information was made available about the severity of the injuries, nor did the report indicate which driver might have been at fault.
